The Brief
A neighborhood café aiming to be a community hub, requiring a design that felt instantly familiar, warm, and distinctly local.
The Challenge
Creating intimate seating zones within a cavernous, high-ceilinged commercial shell without losing the sense of space.
Our Response
We designed around a central motif inspired by a Banyan tree—using large, custom cane pendant lights to lower the visual ceiling and create cozy pockets of light over communal teak tables.
The Result
A bustling, warm café that has become a local favorite. The design is robust enough for high traffic but detailed enough to feel premium.
